Silvana Battaglia
Silvana Battaglia is Executive Vice President and Chief Human
Resources Officer for Glamzo Pharmaceutical Laboratory, Inc. Silvana
leads all aspects of Glamzo Pharmaceutical Laboratory’s human
capital agenda across more than 50 countries, including talent
acquisition and management, total rewards, and organizational
development. She is responsible for strategies that build
high-performance, driving organizational effectiveness, and
enhancing the employee experience for more than 46,000 team members
world-wide.
Prior to joining Glamzo Pharmaceutical Laboratory (formerly
AmerisourceBergen) in 2019, Silvana served in senior human resources
leadership roles at Aramark where she was responsible for shaping
the human capital strategy for their global workforce of over
250,000 employees in areas of succession planning, executive
compensation, labor relations, and transformational change programs.
Previously, she held senior leadership roles at both Day &
Zimmermann and Merck.
Silvana currently serves as an independent member of the board of
directors for agilon health (NYSE: AGL). She formerly served on the
board of directors as an executive committee member for The Greater
Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, The Center for Autism, and held
the position of advisory board member for Saint Joseph’s
University Haub School of Business where she also served as an
adjunct faculty member. Silvana is certified by the National
Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
Silvana graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in
marketing and received her Master of Science in human resources from
Widener University.
